Eight O One Prints was established in 2019 when founder Troy Steineckert embarked on a journey to apply his 20 years of experience in the industry to make the printing process more efficient, affordable and a better customer experience by doing it on his own. Troy has established close relationships with his customers over the years, and the time was right to venture out on his own by founding Eight O One Prints. Within the first six months in business, Troy more than doubled his original customer base and grew the company from 5 employees to 12.
Troy Steineckert was raised in Provo, Utah and is passionate about the community in which he lives and works. The city is assigned the area code of 801, and as a tribute to his home town and the common saying of living in "The eight-o-one," the company name pays tribute to Troy's roots in the Provo area.
